Sandy Hook Promise worked with us to build off the Secret Service and evidence-based school threat assessment program, and including the program within the DOJ Office of Justice Program’s research and pilot grants to schools. We drafted and drove appropriations legislation to passage within the FY 2018 Omnibus through the Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee.
